Joy Is The Only Treat LP Street Survival

Client. is a German band riding the grunge-revival wave that is going on now. You should definitely give them a try if you’re into Daylight (Superheaven) or Title Fight. Compared to their debut EP I Am Well, the production is a bit cleaner and in my opinion, better. It fits their sound just right now. The songs sound more mature (translation: smoother songwriting), but also at times a bit more calm. The band still rides that grunge wave, but some songs move more into the alternative rock scene. They can definitely hold their own against the more established bands in their genre. Pretty impressive.

Lost Art LP Jade Tree

Uniquely combining punk, hardcore and garage rock, Richmond, VA's Cloak/Dagger return with 'Lost Art,' which employs the guitar twang of the Avengers, Drive Like Jehu, Hot Snakes and Mission Of Burma, the percussive thrust of Ramones or Hot Snakes and bygone Boston hardcore heroes The FU's and Jerrys Kids and a vocal delivery that is more Johnny Thunders and less Ray Cappo. Vinyl version includes coupon for free MP3 download of entire album. I have a few copies on limited white vinyl.

Kamikazes 7-Inch Grave Mistake

CLOAK/DAGGER tear through the distinctive guitar fuzz driven track 'KAMIKAZES' off of their 2007 'WE ARE' full length (vinyl version out spring 2008 on GRAVE MISTAKE) on the A-side, then a blistering rendition of the MODERN LOVER'S cut 'SHE CRACKED' on the flip. Still out of control, and you've still got a problem.

Surf Song b/w Concentration Camps 7-Inch Jade Tree

Richmond, VA's Cloak/Dagger return to burn through two more of their signature anthems to alienation on this EP recorded by Brian McTernan. 'Surf Song' resonates with anyone estranged by the detachment of the modern technological era (and maybe some geographically challenged would-be surfers). On the flip, 'Concentration Camps' gives us the tender side of Cloak/Dagger with broodings on the frustration of an infatuation-based attention deficit disorder. Download coupon included. Further Out 2xLP Run For Cover

"Further Out," the highly anticipated debut full-length from the reclusive Indiana trio Cloakroom, can best be defined as an exploratory sonic mission. From the album's opener, "Paperweight," the crushing force of a wall of distorted bass and pounding drumming collapses to uncover the airy, reverb-soaked vocals of guitarist Doyle Martin, who's carrying a sullen burden that seems just as weighed down. From the headbanging heaviness of "Moon Funeral" to the ethereal moments of songs like "Starchild Skull" and "Mesmer," Cloakroom's output is the end result of researching seemingly dissimilar elements like atmospheric post-rock, punishingly slow stoner metal and cathartic emo and how their best qualities can work into a final, organic sound, masterfully navigated by the expert and completely analog production of Matt Talbot. "Further Out" boasts the timelessness of a classic record: It is expansive and exploratory while still reflective and referential to the astral tendencies of predecessors like Hum and Jesu. Vinyl version includes digital download.

Infinity LP LP

Cloakroom is a brand new musical entity conceived in the harsh rurals of northwest Indiana. Despite the frantic, fast-paced nature of their other acts, Cloakroom rarely touches on its members' previous work. Instead, they are found channeling the visceral vocals of David Bazan (Pedro The Lion) laid over quiet, ethereal guitar hums that slowly grow into pounding walls of sound, at times bringing to mind a more stoned, yet delicate, Jesu. LP includes digital download.

It Doesn't Get Better 7" Going Underground

As mean spirited as the Arizona desert they call home, Phoenix's Closet Case present their debut 7" that spews forth five tracks of classic-sounding hardcore that's delivered in the same style as bands like Antidote and the Abused as well as more contemporary ragers like Tear It Up.

Midlife Crisis 7-Inch Wintermute

There are 13 songs on this ep, but don't think you know what to expect. These are highly melodic tracks that have more in common with the DEAD KENNEDYS than 97A. Songs like 'Humans Disappoint Me' and 'Paula Abdul' serve to show their ability to address serious topics as well as their exceptional humor, another thing they have in common with DK. Very interesting.

How The West Was Won LP Vital Center

This is CLUSTERFUCK's first LP after an EP and split EP with RAT BYTE, and it builds on their attention deficit disorder formula of blazing early California speed, strong vocal melodies and oddball songwriting that snaps on a dime. Think 2 parts ADOLESCENTS and one part PROLETARIAT, made by genuine old dudes from Connecticut's SEIZURE and one YOUNG LADY. 18 sarcastic but sincere punk explosions dismantling the modern condition as America absorbs and reprocess the world around it.. Excellent stuff, and limited to 300 copies on great-looking white vinyl.

7-Inch Martyr

I've been waiting for this to come out and I'm not disappointed. The two Coalition tracks are their best ones yet, melodic and agressive, with some serious mosh parts and singalongs. You're probably familiar with Holding On, so it'll come as no surprise to you that their three tracks rule. Pissed and angry. The Mike Bukowski cover is just the icing on the cake.

Sunzal LP Run For Cover

Long Island, NY's rich musical history has helped to shape a generation of indie, punk, and rock music. Both a product of that environment and a contributor to its next chapter, Coasta craft brooding, atmospheric pop-rock songs akin to Nada Surf, Radiohead circa "The Bends," and Wilco. Featuring the three-piece lineup of Jamey Lacey, Steve Kupillas, and Chris Lorenz, Coasta's five-song debut LP blends a diversity of styles, from the folk-y, solemn track "The Slide" to the dense, haunting mid-tempo rocker "Sunzal," all while plying subtle influence from many of Long Island's greats. LP includes digital download. On colored vinyl.

Trip Down Memory Lane LP Twisted Chords

One of the best German hardcore-bands is back. Three years after Black eyes and broken bones and one year of enforced break the five guys from Cologne have done everythingdifferent this time and just came up with the best Cobretti album so far. Leaving the classic old school hardcore behind, the band appears now sophisticated, complex and varied. Cobretti rock through 10 songs that are so damn enthralling and exciting that its hardly to believe. Everything is possible without drifting into arbitrariness: melodic, catchy passages, quiet, emotional moments to classic rough HC-passagesYou may think of Hot Water Music or Alkaline Trio by listening, then once Kid Dynamite or their old Colognefriends Deny Everything, but nothing does justice to what the band bangs down here. Comes with beautiful artwork with a 4-page text inlay, inside-out-cover, A-3 poster anddownload code for the whole album!

Triumph Of Time / Corruption Of The Body 12" Anchored

Once released digitally in November 2013 this record will be available on vinyl now for the very first time. These guys don't try to match up with any of today’s popular bands or genres but try to create their own style. Musically and lyrically, they are influenced by different bands like Bane or Converge. As a result this record is a bracing, kind of unconvetional and remarkable release which you shouldn't miss.Far away from what is called trend or hype this record displays aninsatiable hunger for something more than prefabricated standards expressed in words and sound.

Forever LP Roadrunner

The follow-up album to 2014's breakthrough "I Am King," "Forever" is heralded by the LPs title track. Recorded with producers Will Yip at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA and Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios in Salem, MA, "Forever" is a jarring and experimental body of work, pushing the envelope with songs like "Bleeding In The Blur," "Kill The Creator" and "Spy." Vinyl version includes digital download.

Cycles 7-Inch Mayfly

Pittsburgh, PA's Code Orange Kids play a raw, stripped-down metal/hc/punk hybrid. Featuring three vocalists, Code Orange Kids can push their music to the edge. Degradation 7-Inch Refuse

Washington DC Straight Edge outfit - COKE BUST and their brand new 7" - on Refuse Records! Following their two 7"s and full length LP on Six Weeks Records, these 6 songs are mind blowing full-throttle raging non-stop hardcore assault influenced by the masters from Infest, Heresy, Ripcord and Youth Of Today that will leave you on your knees begging for more. Everyday bullshit going on personal and political levels fueled the fire in the lyrical content. Recorded by Kevin at Developing Nations Studios and mastered by Smok (Post Regiment fame) in As One studio.

Confined LP Grave Mistake

This is the third release of Coke Bust on Refuse Records and we're fuckin' proud of it as this band is one of the most kicks ass unit of the last decade. Their second 12" in their discography is nine new songs which strike with total power and explosion of anger pointed in the right direction. This is the sound of Washington DC Straight Edge of our time. This is the soundtrack of their "Hardcore Without Borders" campaign as a full-on non-stop touring machine. These 9 songs will hit you hard with their raw and fast sound and lyrics that desperately attempt to liberate the individual from the modern societal trap where addictive and destructive consumerism in a homeland is linked to brutal military interventions in foreign countries. Take a deep breath before listening.

DC and Massachusets. Mindblowing and devastating.

Enfonsat LP Amendment

Barcelona's Col.lapse presents their new full length. "Enfonsat" is just pure emotion delivered in 8 tracks. Strong references to Dag Nasty and -Salad Days era- Minor Threat can be found here, adding of course a lot of their own identity. In fact, this is probably the first band you will hear sing in CATALAN. Curious?
Col.lapse- "Enfonsat" LP is a split release between Amendment Records (US) and Can't Keep Us Down (Europe). On colored vinyl.

s/t 7-Inch Hjernespind

COLA FREAKS are from Århus, Denmark. These guys are experts in writing catchy punk songs delivered with a snotty attitude. Best thing to happen in this part of Denmark for a long long time. This is a brand new band, but all members have a past in different bands, such as TÆVE, Rotter, Snöwball, Knicky Nickers, the Johns, MoneyMakers and a lot more.
