The members of Bunny Skulls have been playing hardcore punk for 20 years and have managed to squeeze 18 songs onto one EP, paying tribute to bands of the early-'80s, mixing the speed and fury of bands like Negative FX, Necros and DRI into one hyper-speed package with a recording that sounds like it's from that time period.
The debut full length from Vancouver, Canada's SXE hardcore powerhouse. Nine songs of fast, heavy, energetic hardcore on par with Judge, Trial, Strain, Ensign, Undertow and Floorpunch. Mucho breakdowns and singalongs. Recorded and produced by Blair Calibaba (Strain, Trial, By A Thread, Champion, Sum 41, Gob).
Debut 7” by Boston/Cape Cod's BURDEN, featuring four tracks that mix classic Oi! sounds with the power of late 80’s NYHC. Initially started as a one-man project, this is the first recording featuring the full lineup comprised of members of Waste Management, Revilers and MFP. Limited to 500 copies on black vinyl.
Coming off of a strong LP, Perth, Australia's Blkout feature members of Miles Away and keep walking on the heavy side, bringing to mind later bands like Terror and Cold World as well as classic NYHC bands Breakdown and Madball. 7" includes digital download. On colored vinyl.

"Watching You Die" and an unreleased, exclusive song from the demo

Twenty years after their initial breakup, Buried Alive is back and ready to release "Death Will Find You," an EP featuring two brand-new songs and two remastered songs from their split with Reach The Sky. The band picks up right where they left off, bringing you a serious dose of hard-hitting, urgent, metallic hardcore. 7" includes digital download. On colored vinyl.
Pure, raw hardcore. The inspiration to many, many bands. Featuring
Chaka, who later formed Orange 9mm, Gavin from Absolution and Alan from
Beyond and Quicksand. New pressing now available on translucent blue
vinyl.
Formed by Gavin Van Vlack (ABSOLUTION, DIE 116, PRY), Alan Cage (BEYOND, QUICKSAND), Alex Napack (PRESSURE RELEASE), and friend Chaka Harris (ORANGE 9MM), BURN set out to create something different than the preexisting sound of late-80s New York hardcore. Shortly before the initial breakup of BURN in 1992, the band recorded three songs that went unreleased for a decade. The recordings were highly sought after by fans, and tenth generation dubs circulated the underground scene for years until in 2002 Revelation Records released them on vinyl. Now, after being out of print for many years, Last Great Sea is finally available again. Limited press of 1,000 on opaque orange vinyl. RSD 2016
The first studio recordings from these New York hardcore legends since 2001's "Cleanse," Burn returns with three new tracks on "...From the Ashes," continuing to drive the paradigm of the style whose boundaries they initially pushed with their classic, self-titled EP in 1990. The progressive and introspective sound cultivated by original members Chaka Malik on vocals and Gavin Van Vlack on guitar is back, and is now rounded out by ex-Glassjaw rhythm section Manuel Carrero and Durijah Lang, who add fresh groove to the band's renewed onslaught. For fans of Cro-Mags, Inside Out, Absolution and Glassjaw. 7" includes digital download. On colored vinyl.
"Do Or Die" is the highly anticipated new album from Burn. The album was engineered by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at GodCity Studio and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Slayer, Public Enemy, Sonic Youth). An invigorating modernization and continuation down the path these visionaries forged alone two decades earlier. Vinyl version includes digital download.
Burn Your Life Down's debut is none other than a perfect example of
human dysfunction meets unorthodox musical scoring. Taking notes from
head cases like Kiss It Goodbye and Bloodlet, BYLD takes that school of
thought and cultivates a hardened edge all their own. Heavy grooves
intertwine with bouncy riffs, all coupled with deranged vocal patterns
that paint inkblots that ask, "What does this look like to you?" 12"ep
includes digital download.
Serving as a precursor to their Southern Lord debut to be delivered in 2012, this 7" features two tracks of rock 'n' roll-inspired hardcore punk from this Toronto, Canada crew who feature Chris Colohan of Cursed, The Swarm, and Left For Dead on vocals. 7" includes digital download. On colored vinyl.
Chris Colohan (Cursed, The Swarm, Left For Dead, Ruination) and co. are back with a single
featuring "Don't Ever Change" from an upcoming full-length on the A-side and a cover of Nick
Cave's "Jack The Ripper" on the B-side. Burning Love is definitely more punk than Cursed,
but still rooted in doom/stoner metallic hardcore.
This EP is the first vinyl offering from Toronto, Canada's Burning Love, featuring Chris Colohan (Cursed, Left For Dead, Ruination) on vocals. Originally released as a limited cassette demo in 2009, now available on vinyl. Burning Love is definitely more punk than Cursed but still rooted stoner/doomy metal hardcore. The recording features four originals and one Battalion Of Saints cover.
"Rotten Thing To Say" is the
second full-length from Torontonians Burning Love, who feature the
illustrious Chris Colohan of Cursed, The Swarm and Left For Dead on
vocal duties spewing forth his witty, sarcastic and intelligent lyrics
over rock 'n' roll-inspired hardcore punk that merges the darkness of
Poison Idea, the melodic aspects of Queens Of The Stone Age and the
inspired high energy of MC5. Now available on vinyl.
Burning Love is an unapologetic punk band from Toronto, Canada fronted by vocalist/lyricist Chris Colohan (Cursed, Left For Dead, Ruination, etc.). Burning Love's approach is more nuanced than Colohan's previous bands, mixing raw melody and swagger (akin to Laughing Hyenas, Poison Idea, etc.) into their hardcore blood. "Down So Long" b/w "Medicine Man" is a two-song banger of an EP, recorded by Josh Korody at Candle in Toronto (Fucked Up, etc.). 7" includes digital download. On colored vinyl.
15 song LP from the Memphis kings of fast and hard. Similiar in vein to Tennesse alumni Deathreat, No Parade, and Cop Out this LP is the equivalent of a very well spoken kick to the crotch. If you like old greats like Negative FX and Poison Idea you'll dig on this. Did I mention this is fucking fast?
Tough bare knuckle hardcore with tough intent, charging guitars lead speeding blast beats to heavy SXE-styled breakdowns and choruses while hoarse shouting vocals resonate full bore, double barrel, no holds barred political lyrics. Straight forward in overall attack, Memphis, Tennessee's BURY THE LIVING's second full Length LP's 21 tracks are filled with enough dark twists, experimentation and pulling from diverse influences within the Hardcore formula- from blast beat Mid '90's hardcore to SXE hardcore to late '80's experimentation with rock formulas within the hardcore format to fit well as their Prank debut. I really dig this, awesome record!
Current darlings of the Bay Area hardcore scene and sporting chaps who already show up on the Warthog Speak roster in such class acts as Permanent Ruin, Stressors and Scalped, Busted Outlook is made up of dudes that have more than likely booked a show for your band if you've played in the Bay Area at any point over the last five years. Locked in the grooves of this record is some of the tightest, spirit-lifting, metallic hardcore this side of '88. Riffs galore. Divebombs, breakdowns, dope solos and good vibes to help you ride through summer 2015.
By A Thread has written and recorded some of the most dynamic and influential post-hardcore/rock ever to come out of the Pacific Northwest. Drawing on their experience in the hardcore band Strain, the four members of By A Thread create multi-layered, emotional music fueled by the power and desperation of the human experience. The album's tracks are as expressive, evocative and memorable as the band's debut, but reveal a maturity in songwriting and approach that has developed in the decade since that first release. Now available on colored vinyl. Vinyl version includes digital download.
Seminal hardcore band By The Grace Of God whose first two releases on Victory Records made waves in the mid-'90s has existed on the fringes of the music scene since 2000. In the summer of 2017, they met for four days to write and record "Above Fear." With insightful lyrics that focus on community, egalitarianism, and political activism, "Above Fear" is a powerful return after such a long silence. Vinyl version includes digital download and a silkscreened B-side. It's great to have them back.
For my money, BTGOG was one of the most intense and passionate bands ever. They've
recently started to play shows again (and will be on tour in europe this summer. To mark the
occasion, their last songs are finally available on vinyl. They're the best thing they've ever
done, and I'm very happy that I can finally retire my well-worn CD copy. Get this.
Musically, By The Grace Of God crosses all lines between melodic and downright aggressive punk/hardcore. Their first EP, "For The Love Of Indie Rock," was incredibly well-received. With songs that ranged from political and emotional to the importance of fun in the punk scene, they conveyed an overwhelming positivity and a push for unity that the punk/hardcore scene hasn't been addressing for a long time. Now available again on colored vinyl.
