s/t 7" New Age

Restraining Order formed in January 2017 after the band members made it their New Year's resolution to start a 1982-style hardcore punk band. Heavily influenced by original hardcore movers and shakers such as Minor Threat, Circle Jerks, and Jerry's Kids, Restraining Order took their '82 style and added just enough '77-punk attitude and garage-rock hooks to stand out among today's crop of retro-style hardcore punk bands. Hot off the heels of both their demo and "Something For The Youth" promo cassettes, Restraining Order presents their self-titled debut 7" EP for New Age Records. On colored vinyl.

An Alignment Of Polarity LP New Morality Zine

Formed in a dusty warehouse, Long Island, NY's Rule Them All took the sound started by hometown staples Silent Majority and Inside, and blended it with Revolution Summer emo to create melody that is sorely missing in today's hardcore scene. While "Blueprint For Change" - their initial release - was a breath of fresh air, "An Alignment Of Polarity" promises to be the wind beneath the sails of a once thriving style of hardcore. Perfect band if you're seeking existential lyrics, LIHC, and great vibes. 12"ep includes digital download and a blank B-side. Limited edition of 300 copies.

Only Self LP Southern Lord

Jesus Piece has left craters in their path over recent years, quickly developing a reputation as one of the heaviest, most uncompromising acts both on record and on the stage. With the brutalizing grooves of Y2K-era metallic hardcore greats like Disembodied, Deadguy, and Buried Alive at the core, the band incorporates elements of noise, ominous tones, and haunting atmospheres into their dynamic songwriting. With 11 new tracks packed into a debilitating 32-minute attack, "Only Self" was recorded in Chicago at Bricktop Recording Studio with Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos, Like Rats, Lord Mantis), mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Integrity, Nails, Obituary), and completed with artwork by Dom Pabon.

s/t 7" Atomic Action

Kingpin was a Massachusetts-based melodic hardcore band with a sound often described as a mix between Verbal Assault and NYHC. During the band's existence from 1990-1993, they released a debut 7" via Suburban Voice and prolifically gigged throughout the Northeastern United States both as headliners and support for many other seminal hardcore bands from this time period. Although cassette dubs of these lost final recordings were shared over the years by tape trading and internet download, they have now been newly mastered by Nick Townsend from the original analog master tape for official release 25 years later. 7" includes digital download and is limited to 600 copies on colored vinyl.

Discography LP Lp Six Feet Under

Formed by two RAIN ON THE PARADE members SHARK ATTACK started in the Fall 2000 and disbanded shortly after on June 8, 2001 when they played their last show with Cro-Mags and the Bad Brains. In that time they released the "blood in the water" 7" and the "feeding frenzy" demo. This band sounds like 1983. Very fast, very good and very pissed off hardcore. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

Sick Rooms LP Indecision

Sick Rooms continues the band's swift upward trajectory, expanding on both the urgency and atmosphere of "unravelings" while managing to create a record broader in scope yet more cohesive than their earlier work. Again hearkening both the '90s hardcore sounds these gents cut their teeth on, as well as the current tonal colors one might associate with bands like AXIS, DISCOURSE, VEIN, etc.. The end result is a record easily on par with anything else in these musicians' deservedly well-respected careers and that will undoubtedly grace many year-end lists. Positively killer. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

Demo 2018 CS Version City Blues

With a sound routed firmly in the '90s/early-2000s hardcore that found its members singing along at Sunday matinees, buying up records, and starting bands of their own, Boston's Rained In provide their take on a classic. Showing the charm of youth and bitterness of age, being both creative and familiar, their five-song demo finds them in the company of early Blacklisted and No Warning, with bits of Buried Alive, The Promise, and Hatebreed thrown in. Started as a side project among old friends and finding time between tours, the band features members of Cruel Hand, Defeater, Guns Up!, and Vanna.

Retreat 7" Refuse

One of the brightest points of a new crop of bands affiliated with the "Deutschhardcore" tag are finally on vinyl. DOMAIN started right after the demise of SKAGGS by some active figures working hard to put Mannheim on the map as one of the main centres of HC in Germany. Following their two tapes and couple of tours, here they are with their debut 7-song 7". If you're into raw, unpolished late 80's youth crew straight edge hardcore, then you need this. Simple. FFO: "New Breed" and "X-mark the spot" comps., Wide Awake, early Turning Point.

s/t 7" Refuse

THE FOG is an ugly creature of a band crawling out of the Berlin swamps, grinding down most shallow sounding punk you've recently listened to. After a promo tape on SFR-Hardcore here are eight songs of vicious, uncompromising and primitive hardcore (think Sheer Terror, SSD, SFA, The Aftermath) on 7" vinyl. If you know hardcore this is for you, otherwise move along! #deutschhardcore

Ordinary Corrupt Human Love 2xLP Anti

Deafheaven's new album, "Ordinary Corrupt Human Love," finds them working with old friends again. The Jack Shirley-produced and Nick Steinhardt (of Touche Amore)-art directed collection gets its title from Graham Greene's novel "The End Of The Affair," referencing a moment when someone is looking for love, in all of its imperfection and simple beauty. This sentiment is carried throughout the hazy, yearning romanticism of the record with song titles and words as sumptuous as the sounds around them. On colored vinyl.

Changes 7" Lockin' Out

Mil-Spec paints in broad but precise strokes. On "Changes," their Lockin' Out debut, expressionistic effusion merges with a pointillist's eye for detail as five anxiety-wracked Canadians labor to torment posterity with a many-hued picture of the world as it might have been. When it's time to look back at 2018, who else but dreamers will believe?
