Debut seven-track EP of knuckle-dragging, no nonsense, ignorant,
moshable, fast HC here from this new-ish Bay Area band. There's not one
ounce of originality in these grooves, but if it ain't broke, don't fix
it. Described as "SSD covering Madball." Intro by currently-blowing-up
Bay Area rapper Antwon and DJ Eons One (aka Dan Lactose of Spazz).
Olympia's Cairo Pythian has long been a hidden master of depraved synth pop and his new LP, Touched is his masterpiece. Swimming in New Wave, Industrial, and even heavy, pulpy Britpop influences, Cairo emerges from the murky depths of early Human League as a violently heterosexual Soft Cell. To be blunt, this LP is probably the most excited I've been with a new Katorga Works release in a long time and it's an authentic portal to a time we all wished we had experienced. Get touched. Note: You may have noticed that this is an expensive record, which is due to the high quality mastering and cutting from Golden Mastering, as well as the very limited nature of the pressing. As a result, we must sell this at its current price to break even. Apologies for the hurt this may cause your wallet, but it will be well worth it.
alculator use a sound that features mathy riffs and a jazzy tint,
embracing the passion of '90s screamo while making it their own. They
recorded these three songs with Jack Shirley at Atomic Garden and have
toured with US with The Saddest Landscape and Prawn. On colored vinyl.
The final Call To Preserve release is a limited edition 7" featuring the band's final four songs ever released and supported with their final tour alongside Dead Icons and Dynasty (Strike First Records). For fans of Terror, Sick Of It All and Madball. 7" includes digital download and is limited to 500 copies on colored vinyl.
Youngsters from Buffalo, NY playing full speed hardcore with a taste for early Dischord. 10 raging tracks of fast & pissed-off hardcore/punk influenced by Minor Threat, Teen Idles, Youth Brigade and modern bands like ExTxA. Great record!
Can't Relate was a hardcore band formed in the Summer of 2007. They
didn't have merch, social media or a demo recorded before their first
show; in fact, they were probably the only hardcore band in Australia at
the time. Between October 2007 and November 2008, they spent more time
playing shows and practicing then they did editing their myspace layout
and promoting the band on the internet. The band was an outlet for
everything wrong with hardcore and society at the time, and still is
today.
If you like Floorpunch, Right Brigade, Mental, Stop and Think, Chain of Strength or Carry On you will definitely dig this.
These tracks were released by the band in 2008 and are now finally available on limited edition vinyl.
The long anticipated first full-length by one of ChicagoÂ’s best DIY punk bands. Like a new pandemic flu strain, this record drives the melody though the darkness by killing you with amazingly catchy songs ripe with bluntness and sarcasm. Great song writing drives each song after song making this record more of an addiction than a cure. Tracks like 'Multiply', 'Swallow the Landfill', and 'Live Infected' capture a passionate mixture of brash vocals (reminiscent of Leatherface or early Jawbreaker) interlaced perfectly with bleak melodies and urgent drums. 10 songs in and nothing ever lets upÂ… just try to find a more compelling record to own.
Candy has once again teamed up with Triple-B Records for their most
fantastical and sinister release yet. Keeping in line with the artistic
dualities of pleasure and pain, fact and fiction, peace and violence,
their debut full-length, "Good To Feel," delivers nine songs of their
most ambitious and focused material to date. Aligning with the esteemed
engineer and producer Arthur Rizk, Candy has finally achieved the type
of artistry that transcends the confines of its own medium. On colored vinyl.
Candy celebrates their signing to Relapse Records with the release of
"Super-Stare." "Super-Stare" is a synthesis of where aggressive music
should be. Hardcore has reached a crossroads with metal, a place where
lyrical discourse and impassioned screaming is as important as the
memorable riffs and pounding rhythms highlighting Candy's music. 7"
includes digital download. On colored vinyl.
Candy Hearts is the project of Mariel Loveland, Christian Migliorese,
Kris Hayes and Christina Picciano. Loveland's introspective lyrics
create a portrait of youth for all that it is - carefree, innocent and
fun, yet uncertain, lonely, ambivalent and pissed off. The "Best Ways To
Disappear" is produced by Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory (A Day To
Remember, Fireworks), recorded with Paul Miner (New Found Glory, H2O)
and is the best collection of songs the band has ever recorded and the
first release on Chad Gilbert's own Violently Happy Records. Now
available on colored vinyl. Vinyl version includes digital download.
Cannonball play fast, aggressive, pissed off punk that spans the gamut
of influences from the CRO-MAGS to TEAR IT UP. Five furious songs with
some nice chorus parts. This Means War play fast and heavy hardcore with
ex-members of 97A, BORN AGAINST and CITIZEN'S ARREST. Three powerful
tracks that leave me wanting more. Some copies on colored vinyl. 2nd hand

Cannoneer release their debut-12" on Rising Riot Records. This young band from an unknown town close to dortmund plays some melodic but bitter hardcore-punk. Ask me an I would place these guys between Strike Anywhere and Just Went Black. With all these melodies and arrangements, somehow Cannoneer are strangers in the Rising Riot rooster, but what the fuck, I simply love these sad but strong songs, the desperate singers voice and everything else. There are six songs on the a-side and a beautiful etching on the b-side.
Five track 12" EP. Second EP by this Melodic Hardcore-band from western
Germany. First one on Anchored Records. These five tracks build a
atmospheric, fragile figment which catches you from the
very first chord, pulls you downward and never gonna release you
again. The right soundtrack to abandon the last spark of hope.
Capacities present a one-sided
12" of unapologetic hardcore from members of Black Kites, The Saddest
Landscape, Less Life and more. The sound is chaotic, cathartic, fast and
heavy, straddling a line between bands like Orchid, Neil Perry and
Portraits Of Past. Limited edition of 300 copies. 12" EP includes
digital download. On colored vinyl.
Capacities hails from New Jersey, a state known for hurricanes, "beat
down" hardcore, and guidos. But what the Garden State is criminally
lesser known for is the solid list of disjointed post-punk bands that
paved a way for that hip internet term, "skramz".
Sincere and unapologetic, Capacities is a four-piece hardcore band
featuring members of Black Kites, You And I, and The Saddest
Landscape. They present their own style of aggressive
emotional hardcore that separates them without compromising their
relevance. With songs entering and exiting close to the one-minute mark,
their debut 10", "There is No Neutral", is sure to shine a different
light on what New Jersey is capable of producing. On colored vinyl.
CAPITAL's 1st release since 'Homefront' on Revelation Records is this 3-track EP of melodic hardcore which includes a cover of the classic DAG NASTY song 'I've Heard'. Colored vinyl in stock.
Long Island's Capital take a fresh approach to melodic hardcore/punk. Their sound is a mix of many familiar elements blending the melodic style of Dag Nasty, the punk aspect of Bad Religion, and post hardcore tendencies of Quicksand. Stemming from quintessential Long Island hardcore bands Silent Majority and The Reformation, Capital is defined as much by their experiences as their musical influences. This is the vinyl version of the Revelation CD and comes highly recommended!
Featuring former and current members of Silent Majority, Blood Red and Thieves And Assassins, Long Island's Capital play a hook-laden, gruff version of melodic hardcore akin to Hot Water Music and Avail, with slick production by Alan Douches at West West Side. This is their first release, finally available on vinyl.

CAPITAL DEATH plays intense original sounding hardcore punk. Imagine a cross betweem SEPITC DEATH and FILTH. They have put out one ep in the past that ruled, but thise is definitely their best stuff yet. It's a great recording and an all around great looking record. This is a band well worth checking out.
Four completely distorted sounding crunchers from Monster X and three brutal bashers from Capitalist Casualties. Put it all together in some fancy packaging with silver foil stamping and a die-cut and you get one slick looking but completely fucked up sounding slab of brutality core. Slaughtering sickness!!!
Two classic hardcore/powerviolence bands team up with old material on this split, with Capitalist Casualties digging up tracks from 1994 and No Comply unearthing tracks from 1997, all being captured from both of the bands' prime years. 14 tracks on one EP! 7" includes digital download. On colored vinyl.
Capsize is a melodic hardcore band that formed in 2009 in San Diego, CA. The melodic hardcore outfit's debut full-length album was recorded with Jay Maas at Getaway Recordings in Haverhill, MA. To date, Capsize has toured and shared stages with the likes of More Than Life, No Omega, The Elijah and more. Vinyl version includes digital download. On colored vinyl.
Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, Caravels unleash an incredibly dense ? and yet thoroughly interesting ? non-specific blend of brooding, modern hardcore, '90s screamo temperament and gloomy, lumbering post-rock elements.
