WORLD COLLAPSE

Frost/ Casket 7" Reaper

World Collapse has risen from the ashes of Germany's legendary HC outfit True Blue. Sonically, they paint a distorted picture of '80s New York hardcore, infused by the hedonism reminiscent of New Romantic and the cold synths of their German elektro forefathers Kraftwerk, all to become their signature sound of driving hardcore and catchy new wave choruses. After playing shows with the likes of Cro-Mags, Gorilla Biscuits, Sick Of It All and Paradise Lost over the past year, their new single "Frost/Casket" will now see the light of day. 7" includes digital download. On colored vinyl.

WORLD NEGATION

Imbalance LP DRA

World Negation’s first full length release Imbalance is a product of passion for hardcore music and desperate fury about the world today. Fast and tight guitar riffs followed by heavy breakdowns while lyrics are screamed with anger. It’s all about the profound abyss of humanity, not only searching for devious steps of others but even our very own aberrations. But there still seems to be a light place in our mind, still hope to change ourselves and give some positive aspects to others. This is a heavy hitting album that hits as well new school elements of hardcore, but never forgetting about the NYHC roots. Something to please every hardcore fan.

WORLD WAR 3 ILLUSTRATED

WORMEATERS

Wardeath 7-Inch Sorry State

New Jersey's Wormeaters return with their third EP, but it's their first for Sorry State and their first with their new vocalist. The hate seethes from the grooves on this record. Wormeaters retain a level of near-blinding rage through both fast tracks like "Spray" and mid-paced, punch-your-friends-in-the-face anthems like "Scabs."

WORN THIN

Remnants Of What Could Have Been 7-Inch Youngblood

Fast hardcore with a melodic feel similar to later era Turning Point. Five songs of pure emotion from this Virginia based band that plays a hardcore style with predominant vocals and an early '90s feel. Way better than their (already strong) debut on Malfunction, this is the record that made me sit up and actually notice WORN THIN. I might have some copies on limited colored vinyl...

WORST, The

The Worst Of The Worst LP Radio Raheem

Hailing from the Jersey Shore, The Worst began their career in the late 1970s playing frequent gigs at legendary New York City dives like Max's Kansas City and CBGB, drawing on the proto-punk sounds of The Stooges and MC5, and refining it into their own brand of proto-hardcore. Originally released on CD in 2004 by Parts Unknown Records, this vinyl version combines both of The Worst's incendiary vinyl releases with an eight-song live set recorded at legendary Max's Kansas City in 1979.
